2025 Ohio ACEP Poster Competition
Congratulations to Ohio ACEP's 2025 Poster Competition Winners!
Ohio ACEP accepted 30 abstracts for the virtual poster competition organized into four categories. Individuals registered for the in-person Residents' Assembly and Medical Student Symposium on August 14 will receive access to the conference app and will be able to view the virtual poster competition by August 12.

Resident Representative & Councillor - 2025 Election Results
In conjunction with Ohio ACEP's Residents' Assembly on August 14, 2025, Ohio ACEP held its annual elections for Resident Representative to the Board of Directors and Resident Councillor.
Resident Representative to the Ohio ACEP Board
Ohio ACEP and the Board of Directors congratulates Dr. Jun Yuminaga, (University of Toledo) on his election to the Ohio ACEP Board as the EM Resident Representative.
Dr. Yuminaga will serve a one-year term, which will end at the 2026 Residents' Assembly.
Resident Councillor
Dr. Joanna Henry (University Hospitals - Cleveland Medical Center/ Case Western Reserve) was elected to join the Ohio Council delegation as Resident Councillor.
Dr. Henry will represent Ohio's Emergency Medicine residents and physicians at ACEP Council.

2025 Residents' Assembly - Event Recap
Over 450 residents, medical students, residency faculty and leaders from Ohio ACEP gathered for the Ohio ACEP joint Residents’ Assembly & Medical Student Symposium on August 14, 2025. The event included a virtual poster competition with 30 entries organized into four categories, our annual Resident election and an exhibit hall with 28 exhibitors.
